Adena Brook is a talented Singer-Songwriter from Columbus, Ohio who has made a name for herself through her unique blend of musical influences and heartfelt lyrics. She taught herself how to play the guitar and began writing original songs that showcased her natural musical ability and creative spirit.
After graduating from Capital University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Technology (Audio Engineering), Adena continued to hone her craft and perform at a variety of venues and events. She has graced the stage at renowned venues like The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, The Ohio State Fair, The Columbus Arts Festival, and The Rambling House, among others.
Adena's music is influenced by legendary musicians such as Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, and Linda Ronstadt which is evident in the emotional depth and authenticity of her songs. Her ability to connect with her audience on a personal level through her music is a testament to her talent as a songwriter and performer.
As a singer-songwriter, Adena has spent countless hours perfecting her craft and refining her style. Her dedication has paid off in the form of a “Funds for Artist Grant” from The Greater Columbus Arts Council. This grant will help Adena fund the recording of her debut album, which promises to be a stunning showcase of her musical talents.
